MENTORS

Mentors are our most important means of non-financial support. With 100+ mentors JA has the most robust student support mentor program in all of México.

Each Jóvenes Adelante student is assigned a mentor. Mentors are adults with their own university and/or life and work experience.

Noun: An experienced, trusted advisor or role model.

Verb: To advise or support someone, especially a young colleague.

Mentors meet with their student a minimum of once a month and prepare a brief report to Jóvenes Adelante on his or her situation, progress, and any particular challenges that the student may be facing.
